Long-distance moving charges are based upon the mileage from the origin to the destination, and the cubic footage of your belongings. Air 1 Moving will pick your items up from your home and store them at Air 1 Moving Storage until the shipment is ready to leave for the destination. Alternatively, Air 1 Moving offers pick up at your current residence with a direct delivery to your new home. Air 1 Moving will complete a full inventory of your belongings and will safely and securely wrap or box items that require special care.

Moving Contract by weight / open contract
Please note, in the market when you choose to receive pricing by total weight of your shipment, legally it calls for an open contract.
Open contract is done based upon your total weight on the truck.
By the AMSA (American Moving and Storage Association) we must weigh the truck before and after loading all your goods on our truck.
Your balance for your relocation will be determined by the weight differences on the certificates issued by the weight station- the total will be determine only after loading by the exact total weight on the truck.
It’s an open contract because your total is being determined only after the pick up.
Binding Moving Quote:
In the market the only legal way to provide a flat rate binding moving quote is by your list of items. You can forward us a detailed list of all the items to go in the house, from the smallest box to the biggest armoire.
Based on the list you will receive the option to go with a guaranteed price contract.
Air 1 Moving and Storage Inc. has also sales representatives that are able to arrive to your residence to perform a full inspection and create that list of items for you.
